anniversary: Martin
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Martin of Calvert City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 11.
The couple married on July 11, 1959. The Rev. Winston Gonia officiated. Their attendants were Virginia Stockdale and Russell Martin.
Mrs. Martin, the former Miss Norma Robbins, is the daughter of the late Hillard and Christine Robbins. She is a retired customer service coordinator from ISP Chemicals.
Mr. Martin is the son of the late George and Bessie Martin. He is retired from BF Goodrich.
Together, they have three children, Barbara Williams of Paducah, Anne Smith of Villa Hills and Mary Beth Moser of Rockledge, Fla.
They have five grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate with a renewal of vows and reception at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 11 at Calvert City United Methodist Church.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
anniversary: McKendree
Mr. and Mrs. Gary L. McKendree of Benton will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on Sunday, July 5.
The couple married on July 5, 1984 in Benton.
Mrs. McKendree, the former Miss Earlene Harrell, is the daughter of the late Euckey and Helen Harrell.
Mr. McKendree is the son of the late John and Vida McKendree of Calvert City.
Together, the couple has one daughter, Joy May McKendree.

Jason and Kenita Sutherland of Benton are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Ava Lane Sutherland.
Ava was born at 8:06 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
She weighed six pounds, 10 ounces and was 18 and one-half inches long.
She is the little sister of Dallas Sutherland.
Her grandparents are Terry and Jene Henderson of Benton, Johnny and Queava Sutherland of Benton.
Her great-grandparents are Kenneth and Evalyn Starks and Edith Henderson.
