Wayne Thorn
Services for Wayne Thorn, 66, of Farmington, were held on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at Collier Funeral Home.
The Rev. Charles Frazier officiated, followed by burial in Story Cemetery, Bell City in Graves County.
Mr. Thorn died at 12:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at his residence. He was a retired sheetmetal worker from Randy Thornton Company.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Thorn of Farmington; four sons, Billy Thorn of Murray, Joseph Thorn of Mayfield, Christopher Thorn of Gilbertsville and Steven Thorn of Farmington; one sister, Marcell Sheridan of Hazel; four brothers, Donald, Dale, Bobby and Ronald Thorn, all of Dexter; and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Elana Thorn; and two brothers, Marvin and Charles Thorn.
His parents were Victor and Pearl Mae Thorn.

Edmund Pritchard
Graveside services for Edmund W. Pritchard, 78, of Hardin, were held on Friday, Jan. 29 at Pace Cemetery.
Gary Boggess officiated.
Mr. Pritchard died on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at his residence. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Laverne Pritchard of Hardin; two daughters, Nicki Pritchard of Hardin and Jo Pritchard of Louisville; two sons, Edmund Pritchard, Jr. of Dallas, Texas and Phillip Pritchard of Sharpe; two brothers, James Pritchard of Hardin and Ambrus Pritchard of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; three sisters, Emogene Hamlin of Mayfield, Sylvia Baldwin of Golo and Louise Boggess of Benton; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and one great-grandchild.
His parents were Truman and Dora Pritchard.

Abby Erwin
Services for Abby Lee Erwin, 34, formerly of Benton, were held on Monday, Feb. 1 at Filbeck-Cann and King Funeral Home.
The Rev. Joel Frizzell officiated, followed by burial in Lyles Cemetery.
Ms. Erwin died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28. 2010, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was a 1993 graduate of Marshall County High School and had previously worked at Cracker Barrel in Calvert City.
She is survived by one son, Braydon Kelly Erwin of Benton; mother, Fara Kimberly Elkins Woodard of Hendersonville, Tenn.; father Danny Erwin of Benton; two sisters, Kelly Erwin and Devin Woodard both of Hendersonville, Tenn.; maternal grandparents, Bob and Nancy Elkins of Benton; paternal grandfather, Theron Erwin of Benton; two nephews, Austin Callis of Nashville, Tenn. and Trey Corn of Ashland City, Tenn.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Rachel Lyles Erwin.

Myrtle Hopkins
Services for Myrtle Hopkins, 92, of Paducah, were held on Monday, Feb. 1 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home.
The Rev. Paul Hatcher officiated, followed by burial in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Ms. Hopkins died on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010. She was a member of Gospel Mission Worship Center.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Deweese and Sue Babb, both of Paducah, and Charolette Barrett of Symsonia; one sister, Louise Keeling of Paducah; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Hopkins; three sisters, six brothers and four grandchildren.
Her parents were Joe and Fanny Johnson.

Baron Robertson
Graveside services for Baron Aubert Robertson, 53, of Paducah, were held on Monday, Feb. 1 at Trace Creek Cemetery.
The Revs. Ronnie Stinson and Enoch Robertson officiated.
Mr. Robertson died at 12:37 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton. He was a member of Schneidman Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Robertson of Paducah; two sons, Enoch and Thomas Robertson, both of Paducah; father and step-mother, Rev. Enoch and Shirley Robertson of Gilbertsville; mother and step-father, Edna and Clyce Crawford of Briensburg, one sister, Kathy Gray of Bardwell; one brother, Charles Robertson of Mayfield; and two grandsons.

Betty Tarry
Services for Betty A. Tarry, 83, of Paducah, were held on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at Collier Funeral Home.
The Rev. Skip Parsons officiated, followed by burial in Lakeview Cemetery.
Ms. Tarry died at 1:35 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Parkview Nursing Home. She was retired from Florshiem Shoes after 44 years and a charter member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Duncan of Reidland, Mammie Scott of Paducah and Dora Foy of Sedalia; two sons, Jerry and Donald Tarry, both of Paducah; two sisters, Martha Parrish and Frances Collins, both of Benton; one brother, Raymond Butler of Benton; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Butler; and one brother, Charles Butler.
Her parents were Ray and Mammie Butler.

Russell Larkin
Services for Russell O. “Bunk” Larkin, 79, of Benton, were held on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at Filbeck-Cann and King Funeral Home.
The Revs. Alan Miller and Joel Frizzell officiated, followed by burial in Marshall County Memory Gardens.
Mr. Larkin died at 7:12 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Calvert City Convalescent Center. He was a retired car salesman from Leon Riley Ford, worked for Filbeck-Cann and King Funeral Home and was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Marsha Duncan of Madisonville; one son, Joe Larkin of Calvert City; special friend, Sue Carmack of Benton; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Larkin; four sisters and two brothers.
His parents were Harrison and Pearl Larkin.

Dave Wilson
Services for Dave Wilson, 49, of Calvert City, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Paducah.
The Rev. Billy Rodgers will officiate, followed by burial in Palestine Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson died at 9:22 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Marshall County Hospital. He was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church, a diesel mechanic for Jim Smith Contracting, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of International Union of Operating Engineers, Local No. 181.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Wilson of Calvert City; two daughters, Brandi Thomas of Paducah and Nikita Wilson of Calvert City; one son, Erik Wilson of Calvert City; two sisters, Cyndi Harvey of Missouri and Linda Barr of Missoula, Mont.; one brother, Michael Wilson of Osseo, Minn.; and three grandchildren.
His parents are John and Erma Wilson of Jefferson, Ia.

Marilyn Newton
Services for Marilyn Sue Newton, 57, of Calvert City, were held on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at Collier Funeral Home.
The Rev. Tom Hughes officiated, followed by burial in Fooks Cemetery.
Ms. Newton died at 4:50 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at Lourdes Hospital. She was co-owner of Carl’s Automotive Machine Shop.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Newton of Calvert City; three daughters, Pamela Clark of Somerset, Carla Beeler of Benton and Sheila Davis of Rossville, Ga.; one sister, Kathy Montgomery of Paducah; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Michael O’Bryant.
Her parents were Chester and Norma O’Bryant.
