wedding: Brien
Anna Frances Thomas and Zachary Duke Brien were united in marriage on Aug. 8, 2009, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Paducah.
Charlie Brien, father of the groom, officiated.
Parents of the bride are Jeff and Susan Thomas of Benton. Grandparents of the bride are Lynn and Howard Hurt of Paducah, Dickey and Marilyn Smith of Kuttawa and Doris and the late David Thomas off Smithland.
Parents of the groom are Charlie and Phyl Brien of Benton. Grandparents of the groom are Burl and the late Judy Flatt of Benton and Anna and the late Volney Brien of Benton.
The bride chose Olivia Thomas as her maid of honor and Margaret Thomas and Mallory Cunningham as bridesmaids.
The groom chose Bo Brien as his best man and Sawyer Donohoo and Matt Blagg as his groomsmen.
The flower girl was Gracie Gideon and the ring bearer was Preston Holman. Peggy Ray and Ellen Hayman attended the guest registry.
Music was provided by Connie Ottway.
A reception followed the ceremony at Madison Hall.
After a honeymoon in Miami and the Bahamas, the couple resides in Lexington.
