Editor’s note: The Tribune-Courier inadvertently received an incorrect version of the 2010-2011 school calendar which was published in last week’s edition. Below is the corrected information.
DRAFFENVILLE– Marshall County Schools have announced their 2010-2011 calendar.
The first day of class will be held August 12 for students. The final day of the school year will be held May 26, 2011. For faculty, school begins August 11 and ends May 27, 2011.
Fall break will be held from Oct. 11 through October 15. Christmas break will begin Dec. 20 with the final day Dec. 31. Spring break will be held from April 4, through April 8.
There will be no school Nov. 24-26 for the Thanksgiving holiday, as well as Sept. 6; Nov. 2; Jan. 17, 2011; Feb. 14, 2011; March 17-18, 2011; and May 17, 2011.
Early 2 p.m. dismissals will be held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, except for October and May. October and May will each have only one early dismissal day (Oct. 19 and May 10, 2011).
