Miss Dirkes is the granddaughter of Pam Howard and Kenneth Wilson of Paducah and Gloria Theiss of Kingsport, Tenn. and David Dirkes Sr. of Anna, Texas. She is a 2007 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2011 graduate of Murray State University with her bachelors in Learning and Behavior Disorders. She is an alumna of the MSU Women’s Soccer team. Miss Dirkes is employed by Carlisle County Schools.
Mr. Adair is the grandson of Lorene Barnes and the late John Edd Burner of Benton and Opal Adair and the late Sandy Adair of Calvert City. He is a 2003 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2007 graduate of Murray State University with his bachelors in Business, and a 2010 graduate with his masters in Organizational Communications. He is a alumnus of Kappa Sigma and is employed by Briggs and Stratton in Murray.
The wedding will take place at 3:00 p.m. on June 9 at the Gospel Mission Worship Center in Paducah .All friends and family are invited to attend.
