Mr. Colson and the former Peggy Barrett were married Feb. 23, 1963 by Bro. Wallace Green in Calvert City. Their attendees were Mr. Wayne Osbron and Mrs. Maxie Barrett.
Mr. Colson retired after 34 years from BF Goodrich and served in the US National Guard. Mrs. Colson is a retired childcare provider.
Mr. Colson is the son of the late Sandferd and Velma Colson. Mrs. Colson is the daughter of the late Robert and Fannie Barrett.
They have three daughters, Debbie Dycus of Calvert City, Gail English of Benton and Michele Clem of Thompsonville, Ill.
They have seven grandchildren.
