Mr. Freeman was of the Baptist faith and retired from the General Tire and Rubber Company after 31 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Glenda (Jones) Freeman, of Mayfield, sons Steve Freeman, Ricky Freeman, both ofPryorsburg, and Kenneth Freeman of Gilbertsville, daughter Tammy Turner of Draffenville, stepson Chuck Breedlove of Sedalia, several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death parents Claude and Rachel Freemon, sisters Cassie Egner, Claudine Gibson and Doris Thorne, and brothers Eugene and James Freeman.
A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. at the Mayfield Memory Gardens. The Rev. David Hendrickson will officiate.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
