He was a member of Benton First United Methodist Church. Mr. Parker worked as an engineer for Chrysler Defense.
He was a veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Parker, of Gilbertsville; two brothers, Richard Parker, of Houghton Lake, Mich., and Robert Parker, Pontiac, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Parker and Helen Doris (Lawton) Parker; and his sister, Faye Hillman.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.
A memorial service is scheduled for a later date.
