Mr. Weldon H. Jaco, 79, of Benton, died Monday, September 5, at the Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City.

Mr. Jaco was a Welder from Jaco’s Welding and Machine and was a member of the Briensburg Missionary Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Confilct.

He is survived by his wife, Judy (English) Jaco of Benton; one daughter, Valerie Bell, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; two sons, Jeff Jaco, of Benton, and Shane Jaco, of Benton; three grandchildren, Casey Jaco-Prescott of Benton, Jessica Jaco-Provine of Mayfield, and Walter Jaco of Grand Rivers, and six great-grandchildren.

One sister, Ramona Turner of Reidland; one brother, Phillip Dale Jaco, of Benton, also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Jaco and Lizzie Faye (Metcalfe) Jaco.

Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, in the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton.

Bro. Brad Walker, Dr. J. T. Parrish, Bro. Ricky Cunningham and Bro. Joel Frizzell officiated.

Interment with Military Honors followed in the Briensburg Cemetery, Benton.
