Sue Harris, 80, of Calvert City, died Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Calvert City, Senior Adult Choir and was a volunteer at Calvert City Convalescent Center. She retired from Marshall County School System after driving a school bus for 27 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Cayton , and Robbin Long, both of Paducah, Ky.; two sisters, Peggy Powell of Benton, and Robbie Jean Thomasson; one brother, Dwight Vasseur of Murray; two grandchildren, Alissa Schwipps , and Brandon Cayton of Palma; three stepgrandchildren, Chelsea Long, Ariel Long and Ali Long, all of Paducah; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert F. Harris; two brothers, Billy Roe Vasseur and Harold Eugene Vasseur; three sisters, Elwanda Puckett, Eleanor Noles and Betty Donohoo; and her parents, Raymond Vasseur and Bessie McCoy Vasseur.

Services were handled by Filbeck-Cann and King Funeral Home and Crematory. The Rev. Jim Ewing officiated, and burial was at Briensburg Cemetery.ematory.
