She was a Retired Civil service worker at Fort Knox.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Parnell of Radcliff; two sons, David John of North Benton and Christopher John of Radcliff; two daughters, Tammy Evans of Rineyville and Jennifer Stender of Radcliff; twelve grandchildren and one sister, Linda Greenwalt.
She was Preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine Otto Reed; brother, Bubba Reed; and by one granddaughter Angel John.
Funeral services were held January 11, at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial was held at the North Hardin Memorial Gardens.
