He was a member of Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church, the Carpenters Union Local #357, and a Lifetime Member of the American Legion. He was a farmer, and a World War II veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Cassie Parrott Lindsey of Calvert City; two daughters, Kathie Williams of Calvert City and Marsha Harper of Calvert City; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother, James Lindsey; and his parents, Roy and Belma King Lindsey.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13 at Fooks Cemetery where military rites were conducted. Roger Parker and Trevor Harper officiated.
