Mr. Smith was a member of Aurora Christian Church and was retired as a welder from Jakel of Murray.
He is survived by his two daughters, Karen Burnett of Louisville, and Lisa Baker of Benton; one sister, Margret Henley of Benton; two brothers, Royce Smith of Benton, and Bill Smith of Park Rapids, Minn.; 5 grandchildren; one stepdaughter; 5 great grandchiuldren; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Margrett Jane Fleming Smith; a step-granddaughter: and a nephew.
Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, with Rev. Ivan Judd officiating. Interment will be at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
