A ruptured gas line in the Tatumsville area has resulted in a loss of service to Benton Gas customers in Sleddview Estates, on Ridge Road and from the caution light at 641 and 1422 all the way to Maggies Jungle Golf.
Benton Gas is working to repair the ruptured line, but a spokesperson says customers could be without service for the remainder of the afternoon.
Anyone needing assistance lighting their pilot lights once service is restored should call Benton Gas at 527-3717.
