Rosetta Jones, 97, of Benton died Sunday, Sept. 23, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton.

Daughter of William Oscar Hamlet and Nancy Frances Hodge Hamlet, she was a member of the First Missonary Baptist Church in Benton, KY.

She is survived by a daughter, Patsy Tubbs of Benton; sons Jerry Jones and Tommy Jones of Benton, Gene McGuins of Paducah and Jimmy Jones of Kuttawa; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Jackson Jones; two brothers and one sister.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. at the Benton Cemetery. Elder Robert Chandler and Shane Darnall will officiate.

Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, Sept. 26, between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home in Benton.
