He was a salesman for Cole Lumber.
Born Monday, April 13, 1953 in Graves County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James Paul Blackwell and the late Violet Louise Freeman Blackwell.
Surviving are son, Justin Blackwell of Mayfield,, daughter, Karlee Blackwell of Paducah, sister, Beverly Waid of Symsonia, and two grand children.
He was predeceased by brother, Kenneth Blackwell.
A Graveside Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov 6 at Baker Cemetery with the Rev. Danny York officiating.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 10 a.m and 12 noon at the Collier Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
