She was the daughter of the late Ed Blakney and the late Dovie (Story) Blakney.
She is survived by: Two Daughters: Donna Moss, and Ann Birdsong. Three Sons: Edward Phillips, Gene T. Phillips, James D. Phillips, 19 Grand Children, 40 Great-Grand Children, 22 Great-Great-Grand Children, and brother-in-law: Paul Koerner.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William Phillips, son: Gerald L. Phillips and his wife Viva, son: Billy K. Phillips, daughter: Janice Phillips, brother: Guy Blakney, sister: Norma Koerner, grandchild: Casey Phillips, and great grandchildren: Blaze Birdsong and Ashley Mathis.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.
Services were held Friday, July 29, 2011, Ben Phillips and John Phillips officiating.
