She is survived by her husband, Jerry Cox of Symsonia, one daughter, Stephanie Cope, of Hickory; step-daughter, Sheena Hayden, of Reidland; one sister, Betty Wilkerson of Camden, Tenn.; one brother, Tommy Walters of Benton and four grand children.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tana Marie Mathis; her parents, Gilbert Walters and Margaret Marie (Burkhart) Walters; and brother, Will Ed Walters.
Services were held September 24, with Rev. Ronnie Cunningham officiating.
Interment followed at New Sand Hill Cemetery, in Graves County.
