The event will begin at 10:45 a.m., with plungers hitting the water starting at 11:30 a.m.
With the motto "Freezin for a Reason," the event is being held for the fourth year at Kentucky Dam Village.
The local event is one of six in Kentucky. Last year's event drew a total of 3.141 participants and raised more than $750,000. The Marshall County event had more than 500 plunders and raised nearly $95,000.
