Ovid Frank Littlejohn, 93, of Benton died July 31 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. Mr Littlejohn was retired from General Tire where he worked in maintenance and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Son of the late Calvin Littlejohn and Mary Ann (Lane) Littlejohn, he was a member of Zion’s Cause Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth K. (Downing) Littlejohn; daughters Shirley Hargrove of Burna and Dorothy Sullivan of Paducah; brother Ed Littlejohn of Benton; sisters Vada Gilbert of Benton, Peggy Belcaster of Park Ridge, Ill., and Syble Poindexter of Paducah; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m. at Collier Funeral Chapel. Brother Charles Frazier and Brother Earl Cathy officiated. Interment with military rites will follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held between 5 and 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2.
