Neal Starks, 90, of Murray died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at his residence.

He was a member of Almo Church of Christ, and owner and operator of Neal Starks Auto Sales.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Howell and Mary Darnall Starks; his wife, Kathleen Gore Starks; a daughter, Patricia Ann Starks; brothers Lowell Starks and Bernard Starks; and sisters Betty Burnett and Mary Jo Newberry.

He is survived by sons Kenneth Starks of Murray and Glen Starks of Almo; brother J.B. Starks of Kirksey; sisters Velda Linn and Glenda Murphy, both of Murray; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Heritage Family Funeral Home with Priestly Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens.
