She was a member of Little Cypress Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Smith, Charlene Smith, Glynda Parker and Sandra Faith, all of Calvert City; three sons, Gerald Barrett of Benton, Lonnie Barrett of Calvert City, and Jerry Don Barrett of Murray; one sister, Texie Rudolph of Reidland; nineteen grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death her husband, Woodrow W. Barrett; four sisters, Flora Atwood, Laura Moore, Roxie Walker and Emma Greene Barrett and one brother, Gordon Kennedy. Her parents were Obe Kennedy and Emma Faith Kennedy.
Funeral services were held September 23, at Little Cypress Baptist Church. Bro. Jewell Barrett and Bro. Patrick Gerwitz officiated and burial followed at the Marshall County Memory Gardens.
