Mrs. Lera Ruth (Gilliam) Garner, 95, of Benton, died Saturday, Nov. 10, at 10:15 p.m. at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray.

Born December 22, 1916 in Maury Co., Tenn., she was a retired sales clerk for the Sears and Robuck Company and was a member of the Briensburg Church of Christ.

She was the daughter of the late Andy Gillian and the late Hattie (Bell) Gilliam.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Ann Wyatt, Benton, and Norma Jean Dunn, Murray; six grandchildren, Dara Bolts of Murphreesboro, Tenn., David Wyatt of Mexico, Mo., Dane Wyatt of Benton, Jeff Dunn of Mayfield, Steve Dunn of Clarksville, Tenn., Andy Dunn of Murray and seven great grandchildren.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, husband L.E. Garner and her brother Horace Gilliam.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. at the graveside in the Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Ark.,

Bobby Baker will be officiate.

No public visitation is scheduled.
