She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Benton. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for the late former Kentucky Lieutenant Governor Harry Lee Waterfield.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy A. Creason of Cincinnati, Ohio; and her nephew, William S. Creason of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Jack T. Creason; her brother, John Edd Jewell; and her parents, Herman Edwin Jewell and Eunice (Jackson) Jewell.
Funeral services were held December 18, at Collier Funeral Home.
The Reverend David G. Atkinson officiated.
Burial followed in the Benton Cemetery.
