Amanda is the granddaughter of Marquita Akers of Tulsa, Okla. and Aileen Miller of Lubbock, Texas.
She is a 2011 graduate of Murray State University. She is employed by NeuroRestorative as a speech therapist.
Brian is the grandson of Violet Gold of Benton and Roy and Neda Turner of Benton.
He is a 2011 graduate of University of Kentucky. He is currently employed by Hoyt Archery as a mechanical engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 3, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Benton.
The couple will live in Salt Lake City, Utah.
