Mr. McGregor and the former Daphina Jean Thompson were married November 24, 1945, by Johnny Job, Justice of the Peace in Corinth, Miss. Their witnesses were Bill and Irene McGregor Thompson, Lourelle Thompson Cole and Ralph Smothers.
Mrs. McGregor is a retired factory worker. She is the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Gibson Thompson.
Mr. McGregor is retired from Pennwalt in Calvert City. He is the son of the late Henry and Ida Hendrickson McGregor.
They have two children, Larry and Terry McGregor, both of Benton, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
