Graveside services for Mayetta Harris, 85, of Calvert City, were held July 24 at Leonard Cemetery. Rev. Wendell Ordway officiated.

Mrs. Harris died July 21 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of Vaughn’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a Kentucky Colonel.

She was preceded in death by son Larry Dale Harris; grandson Kerry Lynn Harris; brother Charles Walker; sister Loretta Barrett; and parents, Harvey D. Walker and Roxie India Kennedy Walker.

She is survived by her husband Arthur D. Harris, of Calvert City; daughter Linda Mace, of Calvert City; son Edward Harris of Calvert City; six step grandchildren, Kevin Berryman, Kristie Stevenson, Tannya Whittington, Wyatt Gamble, Dylan Gamble and Kristina Keeling and five step great grandchildren.
