Martha Parker Miller, 79, of Calvert City, passed away on February 13, 2014, after a long illness.

She was born in Murray, graduated from Murray High School and attended Baylor University and Murray State University. She married Bobby R. Miller, Sr., in 1958 and eventually moved to Calvert City, where she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church for over 50 years.

She is survived by her two sons Bobby R. Miller, Jr., wife Laurie, Paducah, William P. Miller, M.D., wife, Barbara, Huntington Beach, Calif. and five grandchildren, Caroline Miller, Lexington, Catherine Miller, Houston, Texas, James Miller, Huntington Beach, Calif., Zachary Miller, Huntington Beach, Calif. and Kevin Miller, Palo Alto, Calif. She was also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bobby R. Miller, Sr., her parents, John Clifford Parker and Lottie Futrell Parker, and her sister, Mary Ann Clark.

Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Murray, Kentucky. Rev. Rick Johnson officiated.
