She was a postal clerk for the Hardin Post Office and member of Dexter Hardin United Methodist Church. She was a Kentucky Colonel and member of the United Methodist Women’s Club.
She is survived by, two sons, Mark Gore of Murray and Russell Gore, of Hardin; and two grandchildren, Colby and Brady Gore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gore; brother: Darwin Lee; and sisters, Kathleen Todd and Bobbie Jean Lee. Her parents were Albert S. Lee and Lillian Myrtle (Burd) Lee.
Funeral services were held at Collier Funeral Chapel Sunday, June 3 with Rev. Richard Burkeen and Rev. Dean Emerson officiating.
Interment followed at Wadesboro Cemetery, in Hardin.
