Mariyon Darlene Watkins, 89, of Benton, joined her Heavenly Family on Saturday, March 22.

She was the daughter of Fred and Helen (Jacobs) Stoughton. Her three brothers, Harold, Lewis and Maurice preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Dusty L. Kornbacher and husband Paul, one grandson, Alexander Kornbacher, two great grandchildren, Nichoel and Landon Kornbacher and two great-great granddaughters, Kaecie and Kamyrn all of Benton. She is also survived by her brother Gerald Stoughton and wife Margie and many nieces and nephews.

Mariyon was a “Rosie the Riveter” at Willow Run Airport in the 40’s. She was an accomplished seamstress and artist. She also had a heart for missions. In addition to financially supporting missionaries, she provided hospitality for several missionary families over the years as well as maintaining a home for missionaries at her former church in Ruskin, Fla. The family would like to thank the staff of Spring Creek Health Care in Murray for the loving and tender care they provided during her stay there.
