Margie Hendrickson, 88, of Symsonia, died Friday, Aug. 17, at her residence. She was a homemaker and member of New Harmony Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Carl Smith and the late Clara (Miller) Smith.

She is survived by a son, Carl Edward “Scrappy” Hendrickson of Symsonia, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Hendrickson, brother Robert Smith and sister Geneva Howard.

The funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, with Rev. Max Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Old Pilgrim Cemetery in Clear Springs.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the funeral home.
