Mrs. Margaret Lucille (McElrath) Hall, 92, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, May 14, at Marshall County Hospital in Benton.

She was born November 16, 1921 in Calloway Co. She was the daughter of the late John F. McElrath and the late Ima (Anderson) McElrath. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was the pianist for over 80 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Lenna Fulton, husband James “Jim” Fulton, Jr. of Benton and Susan “Suzy” Lawrence, husband Kenny of Benton, five grandchildren; Amy Fulton-Martin, husband Greg of Paducah, Anne Simmons, husband Tim of Paducah, James “Jay” Fulton III, wife Lorie of Benton, Will Lawrence of Benton and Leigh Lawrence of Benton. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Dyllan Simmons of Paducah, Lila Grace Fulton of Benton and James Noah Fulton of Benton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 67 years Ollie C. “Humpy” Hall, four sisters, Ruth Marie McElrath, Garvie Peterson, Geneva Clark and Nell Gordon.

Funeral services were held at Collier Funeral Home on Friday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. James Fulton officiated.Interment followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Benton (Kirksey community).
