CALVERT CITY – The exit ramp to Interstate 24 in Calvert City was blocked for six hours Friday when a semi driven by Steven Clifton, of Mayfield, dropped off the shoulder and overturned. The semi came to rest on the driver’s side, spilling its content of lumber in the process.
Clifton was trapped for a short time. He was removed from the vehicle by another semi driver. The crash is being investigated by Trooper Brian Duvall.
