She was a member of Hardin Dexter United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star, Hardin Chapter. She was an election worker at the Hardin Voting Poll. Mrs. Glisson was a seamstress for Merritt and worked in the Dietary Division for Marshall County Hospital.
She is survived by her husband: Max Glisson, Benton, KY; One Son: Jackie Glisson, Benton, KY; and Two Grand Children.
She was preceded in death by her father: Ollie James Portis; step-mother: Olene Portis; mother: Beatrice (Copeland) Portis; son: James Glisson and one sister.
Funeral service were held at Collier Funeral Chapel Monday, May 28, Rev. Richard Burkeen officiating.
Interment will follow at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton.
