Louise Hinkebein, 90, of Benton died Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the Calvert City Convalescent Center. A native of Central City, she was the former co-owner of the Alpine Restaurant in Aurora.

She was a member of the St. Henry's Catholic Church in Aurora.

She is survived by stepdaughters Carol Phelps and Mary Conkright Herzog and stepsons Charles Hinkebein and Clem Hinkebein, all of Benton; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, Elmer Dennison and Fannie (Hargrove) Dennison, her first husband, Harold Houser, and her second husband, Louis Hinkebein.

The funeral will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home in Benton. Father Babu Kulathumkal Joseph will officiate. Interment will follow in the Maple Springs Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, funeral home.
