Mrs. Loueva Cole Mathis, 81, of Benton, died November 12, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

She retired as the Executive Housekeeper for Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in Murray.

She is survived by, one daughter, Patricia Estes of Manti, Utah; one son, Mark Mathis of Benton; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grand children.

Mrs. Mathis was preceded in death by her parents, Winston Carl Cole and Lottie (Carson) Cole; her husband, Dillard Mathis; two sons, Steve Mathis and Philip Mathis.

Funeral services were held November 14, in the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton.Rev. Joe Daryl Thorn and Angelo Munoz officiated.

Interment followed in the Cole Cemetery in Benton.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Marcellas Kitchen, 262 Griggstown Rd., Calvert City, KY 42029.
