Funeral services for Linda D. Jarvis, 74, of Benton, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 at Filbeck-Cann and King Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. David Brasher and Rev. Mark Mohler will officiate. Burial will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Jarvis died July 23 at Marshall County Hospital.

She was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a soft sculpture artist, and co-owner of BOJA Collectibles. She was a member of the Kentucky Artist Group.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Jarvis; two sisters, Dorothy Hurt and Robbie Brooks Mills; two brothers, Eugene Hurt and James Earl Hurt. Her parents were Onyx Haywood Hurt and Ila Harrell Hurt.

She is survived by daughter, Mitzi L. Prater, of Benton; two granddaughters, Miranda Prater and Laurel Prater, both of Benton; and several nephews and nieces.
