Leo was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and a charter member of the Marshall County Elks Lodge #2702. He retired from General Tire.
He is survived by one daughter, Cindy Louise Humphreys of Benton; one son, Adam Leo Borders of Benton; two grandchildren, McKinsey Borders and Tyler Griggs; and two brothers, David Borders of Benton, and Joe Borders of Indianapolis, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vida Mignon Cornwell Borders. His parents were Virgil Borders and Louise Washburn Borders.
Services were held December 14, and Inurnment was held on December 16, at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating.
