Newburgh 6, Titans 3
NEWBURGH, Indiana – The Titans out-hit the Warriors 9-4, but starter Brandon Blossum struggled with control and walked 10 batters.
That put the Titans behind early, and they came up short on the scoreboard after a late rally.
Newburgh got two runs in the first inning and another in the third, then added two more in the fifth to take a 5-0 lead before Post 236 got on the scoreboard in the top of the sixth. A hit batter and four singles plated two runs and cut the lead to 5-2.
Newburgh added a sixth run in the bottom of the frame and then surrender a single, an error and another single in the top of the seventh before retiring the Titans on two strikeouts and a ground out to end the contest.
Justice Beal, Cole Austin and Travis Tack were all 2-for-3 for the Titans.

NEWBURGH, Indiana – In the nightcap, Levi Schoenbaechler put the collar on the Titans.
However, Post 236 batters drew four walks and two reached base after they were hit by pitches, and they musted two runs in the top of the second to take a 2-0 lead.
It was short-lived, though, as Newburgh answered with six runs and cruised to a five-inning victory.
