She was the daughter of Ray Broome and Gladys Broome.
She was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church and worked customer retail for Walmart.
She was the wife of Spencer Goard of Benton. Also surviving are a son, Shawn Goard of Benton; daughters Sonya Soriano of Clearwater, Fla., Becky Albritton of Calvert City and Billie Mason of Benton; a sister, Barbara Whitaker of Kannapolis, N.C.; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Sheppard.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 24, at Faith Missionary Baptist. The Rev. Bill Amberg and Rev. Jon Goodman officiated.
Interment followed in Price Cemetery.
