John Thomas Ward, 69, of Almont died Sunday at the Brian’s House Hospice in Davison.

He was a 42-year employee of Ford Motor Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Rachael Watt of Almont, Teresa Chavez of Hereford, Ariz., and Stephanie Michaud of Almont; two sons, Michael Ward of Kevil, Ky., and Roy Ward of Okmulgee, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Faye Whitbey of Marion, Ill., Phyllis Bouland of Hardin, Ky., and Patricia Crowley of Reidland, Ky.; and two brothers, Paul Ward of Possum Trot, Ky., and Joe Ward of Reidland, Ky.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. His parents were Thomas Avous Ward and Maretta Smith Ward.

Services were held by the Collier Funeral Home in Benton. Interment with military honors followed at Fooks Cemetery in Benton.
