Jimmy Wilson Dedmon, 63, of Calvert City died on Tuesday, April 29 at Baptist Health in Paducah. He was retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 184 in Paducah. He was a member of the American Legion and served his country in the Army Reserve.

He was born Saturday, February 10, 1951 in Smith County, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Leonard Dedmon.

He is survived by his mother, Jackie (Wilson) Dedmon of Gilbertsville, wife, Caroline (Baker) Dedmon of Calvert City, sons, Tyler Dedmon of Smithland and Joshua Whaley of Northport, Florida, daughter, Kristen Ellenberger of Benton, sisters, Mary Jayne Choate of Eddyville and Linda Kay Dunn of Gilbertsville and four grand children, Gage and Cole Dedmon of Smithland and Hunter and Kinley Ellenberger of Benton.

He was preceded in death by his father, and son, Bobby Dedmon.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2 at Collier Funeral Chapel. Rev. Johnnie Davis officiated. Interment followed in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens in Benton.
