A native of Dunklin County, Mo., she was retired from Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah where she worked as a nurses Aaid. She was a mamber of Calvert City Church of Christ.
She was the daughter of Ray Moxley and Myrtle Kirkman Moxley.
She is survived by daughter Janet L. Turner of Benton; sons Ron Smith of Austin, Texas, and Mark D. Smith of Ironton, Mo.; sisster Carolyn Edwards of White Oak, Mo.; eight grandchildre; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-child.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Leon Smith; daughter Suzanne Jones; brothers Jimmy Moxley and Dee Moxley; sisters Mary Ellen Smith and Crissie Meredith; and one great-grandchild.,
A graveside service will be held Sunday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. in Marshall County Memory Gardens in Benton. Lance Cordle will officiate.
Friends may visit with the family between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton.
