A native of Peoria, Ill., he was the son of Milford Beck and Luvada Bell Charlton Beck. He was maintenance supervisor for 13 years at Moors Resort Marina in Gilbertsville and a member of the Fraternal Order of Elks Lodge #2707 in Benton.
Surviving are his wife, Teresa Prince Beck; a brother, Tim Beck of Chillicothe, Ill., and a sister, Mary Lou Breckenridge of Sparland, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life service was held Thursday, Dec. 27, at Moors Resort Lodge.
