Jackie W. Clark, 60, of Benton, died July 9, at 10:50 a.m. at his residence in Benton. Born August 10, 1951 in Marshall Co., he was a superintendent of the Marshall County Refuse Department and was an ordained Baptist preacher, serving congregations in Marshall Co., and serving last at the Lighthouse Baptist Church.

He was the son of the late Clarence Clark and the late Mattie (West) Clark Ford.

He is also survived by his wife, Mary Clark of Benton, one son, Gary Clark, one daughter, Jennifer Ruby, Benton, seven grandchildren, Corey Ruby, Greenville, Jacob Ruby, Benton, Seth Ruby, Benton., Brandon Clark of Benton, Jackie Ruby of Benton, Courtney Clark of Benton, Adrianne Clark of Missouri, five great-grandchildren, Emmalie Ruby, of Greenville, Jarred Ruby of Greenville., Sawyer Clark of Benton, Abigal Clark of Benton., and Brody Clark of Benton.

One brother, Joe Clark, wife Veronica of Benton., one sister, Linda Sledd of Benton, also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Mr. Namon Ford.

Arrangements were handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, Ky.

Bro. Tommy Gamble officiated.

Interment followed in the Salyers Cemetery, Calvert City.
