Mrs. Vaughan was a homemaker and a member of Northside Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon M. Vaughan of Wingo; two sons, Larry J. Vaughan of Phenix City, Ala., and Anthony D. (Debra) Vaughan of Benton; 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William A. “Bill” Vaughan; one daughter, Karen Klapp; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Margie Burton and June Oliver; and her parents, Rube and Edith Runkles Ward.
Services for Mrs. Vaughan were held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 19, at Byrn Funeral Home, Mayfield. Kenny Glover officiated. Burial followed at Highland Park Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to Lourdes Hospice, PO Box 7100, Paducah, KY.,42002-7100.
