BENTON - Kelssie Conkwright and Michael Green were united in marriage October 1 at Briensburg Church of Christ with Tim King officiating.

Kelssie is the daughter of Jeff Conkwright and Callie Phillips both of Paducah. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Judy Conkwright and the late David Conkwright and Lisa and Jimmy Davis all of Paducah.

Michael is the son of Richard and Marsha Green of Benton. He is the grandson of James “Eddie” and Lucy Midyett of Paducah and Emma Green and the late Marion Green of Dallas, Texas.

The bride chose her sister, Miss Kaylin Herzog of Paducah, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Jessica Matthews of Paducah and Miss Mindy Smith of Calvert City. Ring bearers were Audrey Henley, sister of the bride and Ethan Wood, nephew of the groom. Abby King, daughter of Tim and Becky King, served as the flower girl. Tera Graham served as the guest book attendant.

The groom chose Ryan Graham of Benton as his best man. Groomsmen were Shane Free of Benton and Seth Presley of Kingsport, Tenn. Ryan Wood, brother-in-law of the groom, served as usher.

A reception followed in the church fellowship hall.

Kelssie is a 2008 graduate of Penn Foster High School and graduated from Daymar college with her associates degree in science. She is employed by Albertson Family medical as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist.

Michael is a 2003 graduate of Marshall County High School. He attended West Kentucky Community and Technical College and graduated from John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the state of Kentucky and is employed by Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory.

After a honeymoon in Siesta Key, Florida, the couple resides in Benton.
