Sue Green, 75, of Gilbertsville passed died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Calvert City Convalescent Center.

She was a member of Lakeland Baptist Temple and retired after 32 years of service from Kentucky Dam Village Inn State Park where she worked as a waitress. She was a Kentucky Colonel.

She is survived by a daughter, Vicky Hammond of Owensboro; granddaughters Jennifer Key of Bowling Green and Emily Anne Hammond of Birmingham, Ala.; one great-granddaughter; sister Lois Holland and brother Lawrence Harris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan “Tom” Green; her parents, Ira L. Harris and Nellie Langston Harris; sister Neeta “Nita” Henson; and brother Robert “Rabbit” Harris.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Bob McClain will officiate, Burial will follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens.
