Glenda Kay Dye, 75, of Paducah died at 9:55 p.m. on Monday, October 21 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

She was a graduate of Draughn’s Business College. She had worked as a secretary for the Marshall County Extension Office and for the Naval Office at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. She was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ. She was a past president of the Concord Homemakers and of T.O.P.S.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Raymon H. Dye, her son, Terry R. Dye, of Melber, her step-daughter, Linda D. Lindley of Paducah, her sister, Sue Sutton of Paducah, and her brother, David R. Hancock of Chapel Hill, Tenn., one grandson, one great grandson, two step grandsons and one step great granddaghter.

Her parents were James W. and Etrie W. Dunn Hancock.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 24 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home. Paul Wingfield and Larry Harris officiated. Burial followed at the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
