Glenda Bridges Lawrence, 71, of Cadiz died Wednesday, Sept. 12, at her home.
Daughter of Mount Vernon Bridges and Nora Amble Bridges Hughes of Trigg County, she was a member of Dyers Chapel United Methodist Church and was employed by Pennyrile Allied Community Services in the Cadiz office.
Survivors include daughters Missy Burgess and Kim Mitchell of Cadiz; son Jerry Wayne Lawrence of Calvert City; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lawrence; her stepfather, Twyman Mason Hughes; brothers Cecil Bridges, Lonnie Bridges and Lacy W. Bridges; and sisters Myrtie Rhea Hendricks and Sadie Wyatt.
The funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz on Friday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m., with Rev. James Shuck and Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Cemetery in Trigg County.
Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at the funeral home.
